Mats and Flooring
Dust- and particle-collecting mats and special flooring to prevent contamination.
Particles have a basic tendency to settle on flat surfaces, due to the varying adhesion factors throughout the cleanrooms and strongly influenced by the airflow characteristics. The flooring is thus the final location where particles settle or remain as captured contamination.
Peel-off mats, permanent mats and special floor coverings are essential to control particle contamination. For optimal effective control of contamination, the combination of permanent mats, special flooring and peel-off mats is highly recommended.
